Corporate Donations
Here's how your organization can help impact the future of ACÁ is a non-profit agricultural educational and organic farming association that fosters the development of self-sufficiency in Mexican communities. 100% of the proceeds from our growing and organic cooperative efforts go to support the many ACÁ multi-cultural community programs in our area. In addition, ACÁ donates produce and time to such worthy organizations as orphanages, retirement homes and nursing facilities. Founded by two Canadian women, Marie Pruden and Wendy Hill, ACÁ is a registered Mexican Non-Profit organization, governed by an all-female Board of Directors.
The ACÁ Learning Center, located near Lake Chapala south of Guadalajara, is a fully operational ecological-based, organic farm and educational center. Here, students from around the world learn eco-safe organic farming, conservation methods, community garden development and local marketing techniques. Our students have come from the U.S., Canada, Belgium, Poland and Mexico, and are now applying their knowledge at the international level. We actively promote eco-safe growing at the community level too and provide garden development and conservation support to help insure crop success and improve soil quality using ecologically sound standards. We are currently working directly with area farmers and distributors of produce to increase crop yields at lower costs, while conserving water and other natural resources. ACÁ also provides on-site training programs for schools, ecological groups and the Mexican farming community in general. Our practical programs are being used by farmers around the Guadalajara area, right now! As we grow as an organization, our methods of ecologically-safe farming, increased crop yields and water conservation will continue to pay dividends to Mexican farmers, residents and consumers into the future. The primary objective of ACÁ is to help Mexican communities learn to become self-sufficient and improve health standards by growing and marketing organic produce locally.
THE DOOR TO PROVIDING AN ESSENTIAL SERVICE – AND YOU ARE THE KEY. ACÁ is partially funded by grants from the Canadian government and by generous donations from corporations, organizations and concerned individuals internationally. But to continue, we need a bit of temporary financial support, now, from concerned corporate citizens, like you. Your organization’s support is an investment in the future of agricultural development, world-wide. Even a very small one-time offer of support can help provide the means of our continued existence. A small, ongoing donation from you not only helps assure our existence, but clearly demonstrates your commitment to the future of agriculture around the globe.
ACÁ is in the enviable position of having a greater demand for our products locally than we can currently produce. Stores, restaurants, individual customers and markets throughout the area are asking us to deliver more – a lot more! With your help, we will increase production to meet these demands. This means that unlike most non-profit organizations, ACÁ can become completely self-sustaining. Our goal is to never need your financial support again! Imagine that! However, our goal is not to compete with local or international growers, distributors or marketers of food products, but instead to provide education and programs that positively impact the future of agronomy, world-wide.
We provide a necessary educational base for safe, organic farming, this is true. But ACÁ accomplishes so much more. Help us continue to provide real results for Central Mexico and beyond.
Your direct support of ACÁ does not obligate you in any way. Your organization will not be required or expected to do anything beyond your small donation. Continuing support is and will continue to be your decision.
ACÁ relies on your generous support. Please consider helping us as we continue fostering ecological, health and conservation improvements in Mexico. Your offer of financial support (or of help in any practical way) is our lifeline.
